Ketamine Treatment

Kathleen Manseau, ARNP-C, MN, BSN

Kathleen Manseau, ARNP, has worked in general family practice and addiction medicine for 14 years in Okanogan County. Beyond her role as an ARNP with national board certification in Family Practice, Kathleen is passionate about singing, hiking, and finding joy in nature and her son's laughter.

Having personally experienced the transformative impact of ketamine treatment on her mental health journey, Kathleen became inspired to share similar experiences with others. With a diverse educational background and training in mindbody medicine, opioid use disorder treatment and ketamine-assisted therapy, her mission is to increase access to novel therapeutics for difficult to treat conditions.

Offerings

Preparation Sessions

Inner Journey sessions assisted by ketamine include time spent in a dream-like, non-ordinary state of consciousness. It might feel familiar, but it will likely be different than any experience you’ve had previously; for some people this might be disturbing, upsetting, or might challenge beliefs that you have held dearly. To ensure readiness for this experience, in preparation sessions we discuss expectations, hopes, fears, and intentions in advance of Inner Journey Sessions.

Medicine Assisted Inner Journey Sessions

Ketamine for nervous system disorders such as depression and anxiety can be given via IV (intravenous) infusion over 40 minutes, IM (intramuscular) injection, or by SL (sublingual) tablet that dissolves in the mouth. I’m happy to coordinate if you have an established therapist who you would like to attend your treatment session.

Integration Sessions

Follow-up Integration Sessions occur after your treatment, without medicine, and usually occur within 1-2 days after medicine sessions.

Standard follow up Integration Sessions take place in person or via video meeting to discuss the Journey experience (insights, memories, sensations, thoughts that occurred during the treatment session) and methods for integrating this experience with your life and healing path going forward.
